Print of the Day - Fading Memory

Fading Memory - A slight tilt of the head. Directional lighting courtesy of nature. And a camera in your face! Robert Capa once put it, "If your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough." His comment did not come to my attention until recently, though it was a practice of my style of photography right from the beginning.
The statue is no longer an inanimate object. It now evinces human characteristics, and seems to be exhibiting emotion. At least by the angle of the composition, the expression of regret or sadness, perhaps, reflection are communicated to us due to 'our' human understanding of, and experience with, emotion.
So climb on in. When you feel something, we will all feel something. This shot was taken @ West Parish Garden Cemetery in Andover, Massachusetts.
