A Dark Place

Somehow this one came out pretty good, if I may say so myself. It was shot with my old Olympus point and shoot digital camera in Old South Cemetery, Ipswich, Ma. It opened for business in the mid-1700's and is still accepting reservations to this day. Some very nice personal pieces of work have come out of this little place on a hill. The winter shadows shot of three stones, and the burning red autumn tree, just to name a couple.
"A Darker Place" was taken during the later part of the day during a summer month. Yes, it was reasonably photoshopped with CS2 and CS3. No shame in that :)) For me it was a simple matter of enhancing the color, and contrast between dark and light.
I'll return soon, as well as Old North which is a magical place in and of itself.
